A Natural View 2025

Annual Juried Nature Exhibition Since 1998
April 17 – June 4, 2025

Presented by the Gaston County Art Guild in collaboration with Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden

Theme

The Gaston County Art Guild, in collaboration with Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden, presents A Natural View; a juried exhibit celebrating the beauty of wildlife and natural landscapes. While this theme allows for diverse artistic interpretations, submitted works should capture the essence, complexity, and wonder of nature, inviting viewers to observe and appreciate it with fresh perspective and admiration.

Eligibility

Artists 18 years or older residing in Gaston, Cleveland, Catawba, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, and York Counties are eligible to participate. Each artist may submit up to two entries upon payment of a nonrefundable entry fee.

Juror: Logan Dix

Gallery Director, Anne Neilson Fine Art

Logan Dix is a Charlotte native whose passion for the arts began in childhood when she received her first set of crayons. She attended Northwest School of the Arts and expanded her artistic perspective through travels to Washington, D.C., France, and Spain, which deepened her appreciation for art history.

Her transformative moment came in the Rothko Room in D.C., where she realized her calling to work in galleries. This led her to pursue a double major in Arts Leadership & Administration and New Media Design at Queens University of Charlotte, where she gained marketing and operations experience at LaCa Projects and The McColl Center for Art + Innovation. She further enriched her studies abroad in Nice, France, immersing herself in French culture and art history.

Graduating magna cum laude, Logan embarked on a career in marketing before joining Anne Neilson Fine Art, where she has now worked for over five years. With a keen eye for curating and deep respect for artistic dedication, Logan is passionate about the gallery’s mission and the power of visual art to create meaningful impact. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Arts for Life, continuing her advocacy for the arts in the community.
